Job Description — Video Editor Intern

Role: Video Editor Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor Intern who can turn raw footage into videos people actually want to watch. If you love editing and understand how a good story keeps someone hooked, this is for you.

What You'll Do

·       Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube) and long-form content

·       Cut raw footage into clean, engaging edits with the right pacing

·       Add music, sound effects, subtitles, basic motion graphics and transitions

·       Do colour correction and basic sound cleanup

·       Work with the content team on ideas, scripts and rough cuts

·       Take feedback and deliver revisions on time

What We're Looking For

·       Strong understanding of storytelling — you should know how to structure a video with a hook, build, and payoff, and why one cut works better than another. This matters more to us than fancy effects.

·       Hands-on with at least one editing tool: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut

·       Basic sense of pacing, music selection and sound design

·       Awareness of what's working on Instagram and YouTube right now

·       Ability to meet deadlines and handle feedback well

·       A portfolio or reel of your past work (personal projects are absolutely fine)

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

·       After Effects / motion graphics basics

·       Thumbnail design or basic Photoshop

·       Some shooting experience
