Role Description

The Jr. Video Editor role at Fourart is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi, Kerala. In this role, the team member will assist in editing video content for brand campaigns, social media, ads, and digital platforms, following creative briefs and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, syncing audio, adding basic motion graphics, and applying color corrections to deliver high-quality videos. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, copywriters, and performance marketers to create video assets optimized for different channels and formats. The Jr. Video Editor will also help organize media files, maintain project archives, and support the production team during shoots when required.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to handle basic end-to-end post-production workflows.
  • Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, visually appealing output across different campaigns and platforms.
  • Ability to create and refine Motion Graphics and Graphics elements for social media content, ad creatives, and brand videos.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Attention to detail, good sense of pacing and storytelling, and willingness to receive and implement feedback.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate effectively in a team, and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field, and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating video work.
