We are looking for a creative and execution-focused Video Editor who can bring strong storytelling through editing. This role is not just about cutting clips it's about building flow, pacing, emotion, and retention.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other platforms
- Create smooth flow and engaging pacing with strong storytelling
- Add background music, sound effects, and transitions that enhance retention
- Perform colour correction and colour grading for a premium visual look
- Add basic to intermediate motion graphics and text animations
- Work closely with the content and scripting team to match editing style with story tone
- Maintain high quality and fast turnaround time for daily/weekly deliverables
- Organize project files properly and maintain workflow discipline
Required Skills & Tools
- 13 years of editing experience (agency/content creator/startup experience preferred)
- Strong grip on storytelling, retention-based editing, pacing, and flow
- Good sense of BGM placement, sound design, SFX timing
- Strong in colour grading and visual consistency
- Motion graphics knowledge (After Effects or similar)
- Proficiency in tools like:
- Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
- After Effects (preferred)
- DaVinci Resolve (colour grading advantage)

- Strong attention to detail (cuts, timing, transitions, audio clarity)
- Ability to work fast without compromising quality
- Creative thinking + trend awareness
- Open to feedback and multiple revisions
- Discipline to follow brand style and editing guidelines

- Experience editing viral short-form content
- Knowledge of YouTube retention patterns
- Experience with subtitles, captions, kinetic typography
- Ability to replicate editing styles quickly.
