About the Role: Video Editor
We are looking for a creative and performance driven Video Editor who
understands how to craft scroll stopping content for social media. You will work
closely with the Marketing and design teams to create engaging reels, short form
videos, and campaign edits using a mix of editing skills and generative AI tools
that drive reach, engagement, and conversions.
If you have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and viral content formats this
role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high quality reels, shorts, and social media videos optimised for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to execute content strategies and campaigns
- Transform raw footage into compelling stories with strong hooks, pacing, and retention focused edits
- Add motion graphics, text animations, sound design, and transitions to enhance video quality
- Repurpose long form content into multiple short form assets
- Stay updated with latest trends, viral formats, and platform algorithms
- Work on Reels, YT Shorts, Social media videos
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, style, and visual identity
- Manage multiple projects and meet quick turnaround timelines
Apply if you have:
- 24 years of experience in video editing (social media focused preferred)
- A strong portfolio showcasing reels, ads, or short-form content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and basic motion graphics
- Hands on experience with AI video tools and generative workflows (such as Veo, Runway, Sora, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of AI-powered tools for captions, voiceovers, or multilingual video edits
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention techniques
- Knowledge of social media trends, hooks, and viral content formats
- Basic understanding of sound design, color correction, and typography in video
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Good communication and collaboration skills
