We are hiring a Video Editor to own the entire editing function at Indian Farmer. This role is responsible for end-to-end video editing across all content published by the brand. The editor will be accountable for creative quality, delivery speed, and building scalable systems to ensure efficient workflows.
This is a high-ownership, high-output, creative, in-office role.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit all videos published by Indian Farmer, including long-form, short-form, podcasts, and experimental formats
- Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, retention, subtitles, background music usage, sound design, and visual consistency
- Define and execute narrative flow, hooks, transitions, on-screen text (captions, bullets), graphics, animations, and visual rhythm aligned with platform trends
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Create and maintain editing SOPs, workflows, templates, documentation, and file structures
- Own the editing software stack, hardware requirements, data storage, and data hygiene
- Leverage AI tools to improve editing efficiency and workflow optimization
- Continuously upgrade tools and document best practices
