About the Role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone passionate about video storytelling, social media content, and post-production. You'll work closely with our marketing/creative team to edit engaging video content for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
- Add graphics, captions, sound effects, and basic animations
- Assist with color correction, audio syncing, and transitions
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deadlines
- Organize and manage video assets and files
- Stay updated with current video trends and editing styles
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and social media requirements
- Creativity with a strong eye for detail and storytelling
- Ability to take feedback and revise edits accordingly
- Good time management and willingness to learn
Good to Have
- Experience editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
