VIDEO EDITOR

IBTIDA is looking for a Video Editor who can discover stories within raw footage and translate the emotion of our mehfils into compelling visual narratives.

From music, poetry and cultural traditions to hospitality, design and human moments, you'll shape how audiences experience IBTIDA beyond the evening itself.

• Edit reels, teasers, trailers, artist films and YouTube / Instagram Content
• Create short-form social content and long-form documentary-style films
• Review raw footage and identify strong moments, narratives and cultural hooks
• Develop edits for event announcements, campaigns, partnerships and post-event storytelling
• Handle colour grading, sound design, subtitles, typography and basic motion graphics
• Create platform-specific adaptations for Instagram, YouTube and digital campaigns
• Work closely with the founders, content, design, marketing and production teams
• Organise footage, maintain edit archives and build a structured content bank
• Manage editing timelines and deliver high-quality work within fast turnarounds
• Support on-ground content capture and guide videographers during key events when required

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• A sharp understanding of narrative pacing, music and visual rhythm
• A refined editorial eye with sensitivity towards art, culture and luxury
• Strong knowledge of colour, sound, typography and digital formats
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating emotional storytelling and dynamic social edits
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred
