About the Role

Peppy is looking for a Video Editor who understands how content performs—not just how it looks.

You'll work across Meta ads, social media, product launches, UGC, events, and brand campaigns, transforming raw footage into high-performing creatives that capture attention, retain viewers, and drive action.

We're looking for someone who embraces both creative editing and AI-powered content creation, constantly exploring new tools and techniques to create faster, smarter, and better content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for:
• Meta performance ads
• UGC content
• Instagram Reels & Shorts
• Product launches
• Brand campaigns
• Event videos & aftermovies
• Founder-led and behind-the-scenes content
• Create multiple versions of creatives for A/B testing
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and visual effects
• Improve pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention
• Use AI tools to generate subtitles, voiceovers, B-roll, image/video assets, creative variations, and other production elements
• Explore and implement new AI tools to improve creative quality and production speed
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, creators, and marketers throughout the creative process
• Organize project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow

Requirements

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative and editing tools
• Strong understanding of short-form content and platform-specific editing
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication
• Understanding of social media trends and audience behaviour
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback

Good to Have

• Experience editing Meta ad creatives and performance marketing content
• Experience with D2C brands or consumer brands
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling AI, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, Midjourney, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar
• Motion graphics and basic animation skills
• Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design
