Job Overview:
We're looking for acreative and skilled Video Editorwith 12 years of experience in editing compelling video content tailored for social media platforms. You'll elevate content that reflects our brand voice, drives engagement, and makes moments come alive visually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edithigh-quality short-form and long-form videosfor social platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished final videos using creative storytelling techniques, pacing, transitions, and effects.
- Addtext overlays, captions, motion graphics, sound design, and visual enhancementsto boost engagement.
- Repurpose long-form content intoshort clipsoptimized for trending formats.
- Collaborate with thecontent & marketing teamsto understand creative briefs and deliver videos aligned with brand goals.
- Stay updated onsocial media trends, platform formats, and algorithm best practicesto keep content fresh.
- Organize and manage video assets ensure proper file naming, backups, and archive management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 years of video editing experience, preferably with social media content.
- Strong proficiency with video editing tools:Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Experience creating content formatted for vertical platforms (9:16) and short-form trends.
- Good sense ofvisual storytelling, pacing, timing, and audience engagement.
- Ability to addtext, graphics, captions and audio enhancementsthat enhance viewer retention.
- Aportfolio of video workdemonstrating creative range & editing chops.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic motion graphics orAfter Effectsskills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics.
