Key Responsibilities
Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and
After Effects
Strong understanding of post-production processes including color
grading, sound design, and pacing
Deep understanding of Instagram/Reels content trends, hooks, retention
patterns, and short-form storytelling
Ability to translate ideas into engaging visual narratives aligned with
brand communication
Capability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output
standards
Good communication skills to understand the company's vision and
effectively translate it on screen
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic VFX is an added advantage
AI & Modern Workflow Expectations
Understanding of AI-assisted video editing workflows (e.g., auto-
captioning, background removal, voice cleanup, etc.)
Familiarity with tools like Runway, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Descript, or
similar AI tools
Ability to leverage AI for faster turnaround (cutting, subtitles,
enhancements, idea generation, repurposing content)
Awareness of content repurposing systems (long-form reels, hooks
variations, etc.)
Openness to experimenting with new tools, trends, and editing styles
Ability to optimize workflow efficiency using templates, presets, and
automation
Understanding of data-driven editing (retention, watch time, drop-offs) is a
big plus
