Role Overview
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You'll be responsible for producing engaging short-form and long-form video content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, stays updated on content trends, and can bring ideas to life through compelling visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Stories) and long-form videos (tutorials, course content, marketing videos)
- Enhance existing video content and repurpose it for different platforms and formats
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align video output with brand goals
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound design, and color correction to elevate video quality
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Stay current with video trends, platform algorithms, and best practices (especially Instagram and YouTube)
- Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries
- Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and content planning

Requirements
- 23 years of experience in video editing (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Experience creating content for Instagram and YouTube
- Knowledge of aspect ratios, export settings, and platform specifications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects
Preferred (Nice-to-have) Skills
- Graphic design skills Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading
- Familiarity with CapCut or similar tools for quick social edits
- Basic understanding of thumbnail design and visual branding
- Experience in the education or ed-tech space
- Motion graphics and animation skills
