Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who understands digital-first storytelling and thrives in a fast-paced D2C environment. You'll be responsible for creating high-impact video content across platformssocial media, ads, e-commerce, and brand campaignsplaying a key role in how Conscious Chemist is experienced by consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging, high-quality videos for Instagram, YouTube, Meta ads, website, and other digital platforms.
- Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, performance ads, and product videos optimised for conversions.
- Edit long-form content, including brand films, campaign videos, interviews, and explainers.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and design teams to align videos with campaign objectives and brand tone.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, sound design, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Adapt and repurpose video content across multiple formats and aspect ratios.
- Maintain visual and tonal consistency across all video outputs.
- Manage timelines, multiple projects, and quick turnarounds in a high-growth environment.
- Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and platform best practices.
Requirements
- 46 years of experience as a video editor, preferably with a D2C brand, agency, or content-led company.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media videos, ads, and brand-led storytelling.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (or equivalent tools).
- Good understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, sound design, and motion basics.
- Experience editing performance-driven content for Meta/Google/YouTube is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate briefs into impactful videos.
- Ability to balance creativity with business and performance objectives.
