Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing video content for product ads, motion graphics projects, and marketing campaigns, ensuring high-quality output aligned with DRIFT MEDIA's brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, synchronizing audio, applying transitions and effects, and preparing versions optimized for various platforms. The role also involves collaborating with designers, digital marketers, and content creators to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver visually compelling stories. The Video Editor will handle basic color correction, video enhancement, and integration of motion graphics and text overlays as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to plan, organize, and assemble high-quality video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic post-production workflows to ensure consistent and appealing visual output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, and overlays for video projects.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, creative storytelling ability, and strong time-management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative and marketing teams on-site.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field, and prior experience in commercial or marketing video projects, are beneficial.
