Role OverviewWe are looking for a creative and socially aware Video Editor cum Graphic Designer who will work closely with our communications and program teams. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bangalore, involving regular interaction with teams and occasional field visits to capture real stories.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing- Edit short and long-form videos (reels, interviews, documentaries, campaign films)
- Turn field footage into compelling, story-driven videos
- Add subtitles, sound, transitions, and basic motion graphics
- Create content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp
Graphic Design- Design posters, social media creatives, reports, and campaign materials
- Create visuals for trainings, events, and awareness campaigns
- Support layouts for toolkits, brochures, and internal documents
Field & Team Coordination- Work closely with program teams to understand stories and communication needs
- Visit field locations to capture photos/videos when required
- Maintain and organize media assets (photos, videos, design files)
Requirements- 1–3 years of experience in video editing and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator (or similar tools)
- Strong storytelling and visual design skills
- Comfortable working on-ground and engaging with communities
- Basic understanding of social media trends
- Ability to manage timelines and deliver consistently
Preferred- Experience in NGOs / social sector
- Knowledge of Kannada or other local languages
- Experience in documentary-style or impact storytelling
