Role Purpose
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to bring the Home Centre brand story to life through compelling long-format video content. This role will be responsible for editing high-quality videos, adding motion graphics, and creating engaging visual narratives for digital platforms, campaigns, product storytelling, and brand films.
What Will You Own
1. Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit long-format videos including brand films, customer stories, product showcases, store walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes content, and campaign videos.
- Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final outputs aligned with brand tone and guidelines.
- Ensure seamless storytelling through effective pacing, transitions, music, sound design, and visual flow.
- Perform color correction, sound balancing, and final quality checks.
2. Motion Graphics & Animation
- Create motion graphics, animated text, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects to enhance content quality.
- Develop engaging intros, outros, title cards, and product highlight animations.
- Translate campaign briefs into visually appealing animated assets.
3. Brand Content Creation
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, design, and social media teams to understand campaign goals.
- Support in creating content for YouTube, website, digital ads, social media, and internal communication.
- Ensure all video outputs maintain Home Centre's premium and aspirational brand identity.
4. Content Optimization & Asset Management
- Adapt long-format edits into shorter versions, teasers, and cutdowns for multiple platforms.
- Organize footage, project files, templates, and media assets efficiently.
- Stay updated with video trends, storytelling styles, and editing techniques.
