Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished, engaging content for marketing campaigns, learning modules, social media, and brand communications. Day-to-day work includes structuring video narratives, trimming and refining clips, adding transitions, effects, sound, and graphics, and ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and pedagogical goals. The role involves collaborating closely with content creators, instructional designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to translate storyboards and briefs into high-quality video outputs. The Video Editor will also optimize videos for various platforms, maintain organized media libraries, and support continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and staying updated on video trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong Video Editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and experience structuring compelling visual stories.
• Hands-on experience in Video Production, including handling footage, understanding framing, pacing, and basic on-set or recording workflows.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistency, mood, and professional visual quality across all content.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate titles, lower-thirds, overlays, and simple animations that enhance learner engagement.
• Understanding of audio editing basics (noise reduction, leveling, syncing) and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Audition or similar is a plus.
• Ability to work from creative briefs and storyboards, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Previous experience in edtech, e-learning, or creating content for children or young learners is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
