About the RoleWe are looking for a Video Editor who can turn ideas into engaging visual stories. This role involves editing high-quality short-form and long-form content across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate understands content trends, pacing, and storytelling, and can deliver videos that drive engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Edit and produce videos for social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, ads, etc.)
- Work closely with the content and marketing team to understand briefs and execute creatively
- Add music, transitions, graphics, subtitles, and effects to enhance video quality
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone, style, and platform-specific requirements
- Optimize videos for performance (hook, pacing, retention, CTA placement)
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Stay updated with current trends, formats, and editing styles
Requirements- 1–3 years of experience in video editing (freshers with strong portfolios can apply)
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Strong understanding of social media content formats and trends
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound design is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Attention to detail and a good sense of storytelling and timing
Preferred Skills- Experience with short-form viral content editing
- Understanding of YouTube retention strategies
- Basic color grading and visual aesthetics knowledge
- Familiarity with AI editing tools or automation tools is a bonus
