Bandish Studios is a creative media and video production company delivering high-quality content across branding, advertising, digital media, and entertainment. We specialize in storytelling through visuals, motion graphics, and innovative editing styles. We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic post-production team.
The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a polished final product that aligns with the company's creative vision and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong visual storytelling skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality video outputs for ads, social media content, corporate videos, documentaries, and brand films.
- Work on motion graphics elements, transitions, and visual effects (basic to intermediate level).
- Collaborate with creative directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, and motion graphic artists to ensure cohesive output.
- Colour correction, sound syncing, basic audio cleaning, and final export as per required formats.
- Maintain project timelines and deliver high-quality edits within deadlines.
- Organize and manage video assets, footage, and project files.
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and techniques.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all projects.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (13 years preferred; freshers with strong portfolios may also apply).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
- Knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, audio syncing, and visual storytelling.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good sense of music, rhythm, and narrative flow.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams.
- Preferred Skills
- Basic experience in motion graphics.
- Understanding of digital and social media content formats.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with colour grading tools and LUTs.
