About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with strong experience in government-sector, news/media content, and digital video production.

The ideal candidate should understand how to transform complex information, government initiatives, public announcements, and news stories into clear, engaging, and visually compelling video content.

Experience working with AI-powered video, editing, design, or content-generation tools will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for government departments, public-sector organizations and digital campaigns.

• Create and edit news videos, reels, social media content, documentaries, and promotional videos.

• Work with raw footage, interviews, press conferences, speeches, events, and field recordings.

• Create compelling visual narratives while maintaining accuracy and context.

• Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, subtitles, transitions, infographics, charts, and other visual elements.

• Edit content according to different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, websites, and digital news platforms.

• Work closely with content writers, journalists, designers, producers, and communication teams.

• Ensure government/institutional content follows appropriate brand guidelines, communication standards, and factual accuracy.

• Quickly turn around videos for breaking news, government announcements, campaigns, events, and time-sensitive communication.

• Use AI tools to improve editing workflows, transcription, subtitles, voiceovers, background generation, content repurposing, and creative production.

• Maintain high-quality output while working under tight deadlines.

AI Skills — Preferred

Candidates with practical experience using modern AI tools for video production will be preferred.

Experience with areas such as:

• AI-assisted video editing

• AI transcription and subtitle generation

• AI voiceovers and dubbing

• Generative video and image tools

• AI-powered background/object removal

• Content repurposing and short-form video generation

• AI-assisted scripting and video workflows

Preferred Background

The ideal candidate would have previously worked with one or more of the following:

• Government departments / ministries

• Public-sector organizations (PSUs)

• Government communication agencies

• News channels or digital news organizations

• PR / communication agencies handling government accounts

• Political/public communication campaigns
