Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services.

In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

In Cash & Trade, you will be part of the product management team that provides seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers. Whether it is through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or system's features to meet customers needs, you will have every opportunity to shape the business. You will also be exposed to a myriad of Trade and Cash Management products through various marketing campaigns and joint visits with our relationship managers.

About The Role

DBS Bank is looking for a seasoned professional to lead its Escrow, TRA (Trust & Retention Accounts), and Special Purpose Account (SPA) solutions, with a strong focus on capital flow transactions and structured banking frameworks.

This role sits at the intersection of transaction banking, regulatory structuring, and digital platforms, enabling secure and compliant fund flows across corporates, NBFCs, fintechs, and investment ecosystems.

What You Will Do

Structure Capital Flow Transactions

Design and implement robust account structures for:

  • Private Placement (Debt & Equity)
  • FDI inflows (primary investments)
  • FC-TRS transactions (secondary share transfers)
  • Stake sale / M&A settlements
  • Dividend and investor payouts

You will build solutions using the right mix of:

  • Escrow accounts (conditional, fiduciary structures)
  • Special Purpose Accounts (SPA) (purpose-bound, scalable structures)
  • TRA frameworks (cash flow control for debt servicing)

Build Next-Gen Structured Banking Solutions

  • Position SPA as a scalable alternative to traditional escrow where appropriate
  • Design multi-party fund flows, waterfall mechanisms, and trigger-based payouts
  • Enable secure, transparent, and auditable fund movement frameworks

Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Governance

  • Align all solutions with guidelines from the Reserve Bank of India and applicable FEMA regulations
  • Ensure compliance with RERA where relevant
  • Oversee FC-TRS, FDI reporting, AML/KYC, and end-use monitoring

Drive Client Engagement & Business Growth

Partner with corporate banking, NBFC, and fintech coverage teams to originate opportunities

Engage with:

  • Corporates and developers
  • Private Equity / Venture Capital funds
  • Marketplaces and digital platforms
  • Drive liability growth, fee income, and structured deal mandates

Enable Digital & Platform Integration

  • Integrate solutions with API banking, virtual accounts, and automated reconciliation systems
  • Leverage payment infrastructure including BBPS via NPCI
  • Deliver scalable, tech-enabled solutions for platform clients

Own Execution & Lifecycle Management

Manage end-to-end execution:

  • Origination → Structuring → Documentation → Implementation → Monitoring
  • Standardize documentation for escrow, SPA, and TRA structures
  • Ensure strong governance, audit trails, and operational controls

What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • Relevant Experience in Transaction Banking / Cash Management / Structured Finance

Proven experience in:

  • Escrow / TRA / structured account solutions
  • Capital flow transactions (FDI, FC-TRS, M&A, private placements)
  • Exposure to fintech or API-led banking ecosystems is a strong plus

Skills

  • Strong understanding of fund flow structuring, regulatory frameworks, and risk controls
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into client-centric solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen
  • High attention to detail with a structured problem-solving mindset

Education

MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent preferred
