Vibration Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced vibration analysis remotely using internal diagnostic software
• Report vibration analysis findings and recommendations to customers in a timely manner
• Offer troubleshooting support for equipment-related issues
• Evaluate vibration spectrum and time waveform to solve machine problems
• Collaborate with other technical resources to find optimal solutions
• Maintain and update vibration databases
• Support plant personnel in developing equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration monitoring
• Provide remote call-out coverage when required
• Assist with root cause failure analysis of rotating equipment and suggest preventive solutions
• Mentor and guide less experienced vibration technicians

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma / Degree or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in vibration analysis and solving machine issues
• ISO Category II / III Certification from accredited providers (e.g., Vibration Institute, Mobius)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with rotating equipment
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to travel as required
