Vertical Head – Non-Motor Claims: Leading Complex & High-Value Claims Management

Company: Go Digit General Insurance

Department: Non-Motor Claims.

Position Overview:

As Vertical Head – Non-Motor Claims, you will oversee high-value, complex, and specialty claims while ensuring seamless coordination between zonal teams and the Head of Department (HOD). Your role includes managing litigation, mega risk, and export claims, optimizing claims processing through data analysis, and driving alignment between underwriting and sales teams for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Claim Management: Conduct thorough reviews of outstanding claims, ensuring legal compliance and timely resolution.
  • Complex Claims Oversight: Lead high-value claims beyond zonal financial authority, utilizing data analytics to assess risks and streamline management processes.
  • Zonal & HOD Liaison: Act as the communication bridge between zonal teams and HOD, ensuring operational alignment and priority setting.
  • Mega Risk Claims Handling: Collaborate with stakeholders to manage large-scale claims, maintaining industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Export & Specialty Claims Leadership: Oversee export claims and specialty lines from the head office, ensuring accurate processing and policy adherence.
  • Process Optimization & Reporting: Continuously refine claims resolution strategies based on insights, identifying efficiencies to enhance claims processing.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in insurance claims management.
  • Fellowship - III preferred.
