Job Purpose

Responsible for monitoring and tracking the portfolios of the respective ABFS businesses and help build strong credit monitoring systems at the central risk level

Job Context:
verticals, including life insurance, insurance broking, mutual funds, private equity, security based lending, factoring, insurance advisory services, retail broking and distribution of third party products.

Job Challenges:

1. The credit analyst would need to be conversant with all Bank lending products and have working knowledge of risk mitigation and assessment techniques
2. The Credit Manager should have in-depth experience in analyzing infrastructure proposals and project finance deals
3. He / She should build network and sources of connectivity with the respective business units, to ensure effective formal and informal channels of information flow at the ground level
4. The person must possess a strong communication capability with an effective ability to articulate risk views on the subject

KRA1Credit Risk assessment1. Evaluate new business proposals from credit risk point of view. Advice appropriately using risk mitigation and assessment techniques
2. Derive maximum information from all primary and secondary sources of information available (including client visits/ factory visits)
KRA2Credit Risk Management1. Grasp and analyze the risk of ad-hoc transactions / complex structures / new products and should be able to unearth all potential risks (including legal, regulatory, operational etc.) underlying the transaction.
2. Assist the Credit head in preparing the risk assessments for credit committee approvals
KRA3Internal customer expectation management1. Build network and sources of connectivity with the respective business units to ensure effective formal and informal channels of information flow at the ground level
2. Process, evaluate and execute business proposals well within defined TAT.
3. Provide quality inputs to BUs business proposals
4. Develop a strong communication capability with an effective ability to articulate risk views on the subject.
