Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Vertical Boring Mill Operator to join our team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time, on-site role. The operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining vertical boring mills to accurately produce components as per design specifications. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, performing precision machining operations, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with the production team to maintain optimal efficiency. Routine maintenance and adherence to safety guidelines are also critical aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and setting up vertical boring mills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Understanding of precision machining techniques and tight tolerances
• Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methods
• Experience in maintaining and performing basic troubleshooting of machinery
• Familiarity with materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and engineering plastics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Prior experience in a similar role; experience in CNC machining is a plus
• Formal technical training or certification in machining/manufacturing is preferred
