Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities - Test Maintenance

Perform periodic validation and GR&R for test systems to ensure measurement consistency
Monitor test yield trends and identify equipment-related issues
Coordinate with vendors/OEMs for advanced troubleshooting and upgrades
Ensure proper backup and recovery of test programs and data
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency and reduce false failures
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of test equipment (ICT, FCT, EOL)
Troubleshoot test system failures and minimize downtime
Maintain and calibrate test instruments for accuracy and reliability
Support production lines with quick resolution of test-related issues
Analyze test failures and coordinate with engineering for root cause
Ensure proper functioning of fixtures, probes, and connectors
Manage spares and consumables for test systems
Support NPI and new test setup validation
Maintain test programs, software, and version control
Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and quality standards
Train operators/technicians on test equipment handling
Maintain maintenance logs, calibration records, and reports
