About the Role
We are looking for a highly execution-driven professional to join our supply chain team, focused on vendor management and procurement operations. This role sits at the core of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination between vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Sourcing & Finalization
- Support identification and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery
- Assist in negotiations through data preparation and supplier insights
- Conduct vendor feasibility and risk assessments
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, and planning teams for vendor selection
- Vendor Management
- Act as a point of contact for vendors and manage day-to-day communication
- Track vendor performance (delivery timelines, quality, rejection rates)
- Resolve operational issues (delays, dispatch, quality concerns)
- Maintain vendor database, contracts, and compliance records
- Supply Chain Coordination & Risk Mitigation
- Track POs and ensure timely material flow across locations
- Coordinate with logistics to resolve transportation challenges
- Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives
- Drive alternate sourcing, value engineering & supplier consolidation
- Ensure smooth vendor invoicing and reconciliation
- Data & Analytics
- Analyze vendor performance, cost trends, and supply risks
- Support vendor scorecards and performance reviews
- Identify alternate vendors using data insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement and sourcing strategies
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, logistics & finance teams
- Act as a bridge between vendors and internal stakeholders
- Share regular updates on vendor performance & supply risks
What We're Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Vendor Management
- Strong execution mindset with hands-on experience in vendor coordination
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
