About the role
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR developer to design, develop, and support customized HR solutions that enable efficient payroll, data replication, and integration with SuccessFactors and SAP payroll systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and customize Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) using ABAP HR.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Enhance custom infotypes and develop robust interfaces between SAP HR, SuccessFactors, and payroll systems.
- Align development with SAP best practices and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate across teams to implement seamless data exchange and integration solutions.
Required skills and experience
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP HR development experience with consulting exposure.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including data dictionary, function modules, Smart Forms, BAPIs, and BADIs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HR modules: Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll.
- Experience integrating SAP HR with SuccessFactors and payroll systems through data replication methods.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), and debugging replication issues.
- Skilled in unit and integration testing, debugging, and OOABAP development using ABAP 7.4+ syntax.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of OData APIs and SAP Cloud Integration tools for SuccessFactors integration.
- Experience designing custom Remote Function Calls (RFCs) for third-party system integration.
- Prior involvement in at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects following functional specifications.
- SAP Certified Associate - Back-End Developer (ABAP Cloud) certification is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
