Job Description:

As a Product Designer / UI/UX Designer at Fluent, you will support in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of user-centered design across our primary app and other digital products. You will work on end-to-end design processes from discovery and conceptualization to delivery, ensuring that our solutions are seamless, intuitive, impactful, and scalable.

With an expertise in design methodologies and UX principles, you will shape how users experience and interact with our products, while collaborating closely with peers across design, product, and

engineering.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced UI UX designer who combines user-focused thinking with a collaborative spirit to solve complex product challenges. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, extremely curious, and has a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end product experiences, ensuring they are user-centered, business-aligned, tech feasible and scalable.
• Collaborate directly with designers, product managers and UX copy writers to ensure new solutions connect the dots and create a seamless flow across the Fluent app.
• Conduct active user research and usability testing.
• Perform competitor benchmarking and stay on top of UI/UX trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and specifications that clearly communicate product features and workflows ensuring a smooth delivery of the designs.
• Contribute to and evolve Fluent's design system, ensuring it becomes more robust and scalable across products.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., drop-offs, accessibility, responsive design challenges) with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Communicate and present designs with detailed rationale for stakeholder approvals.
• Innovate constantly, communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of professional experience in UX, UI, or product design, with a strong portfolio.
• Past experience in consumer facing apps.
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools (Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance design workflows, research synthesis, and productivity.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence product direction with design thinking.
• Attention to detail with a good sense of aesthetics, usability, and knowledge of UI trends.
• Ability to give and receive feedback constructively and contribute to a growth-oriented design culture.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Exposure to health-tech products or other complex product domains.
