User Experience Designer

Role Overview:

Ready to design digital experiences that make insurance simple, intuitive, and delightful for millions of Scandinavian customers (Denmark, Norway and Sweden)

Join us as a UX designer and play a defining role in shaping the foundation of Ergo Nordics future digital ecosystem. You will help us build our app and web experiences from the ground up providing our broad range of customers with marked leading insurance experiences.

You will work across all design phases from shaping concepts, and creating low fidelity prototypes, to developing full customer journeys in high fidelity design, conducting usability testing, and collaborating closely with developers throughout implementation.

You will collaborate with India based scrum teams as well as the UX Lead and IT Product Managers located in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept development for digital insurance experiences
• Building user journeys in both low and high-fidelity design
• Conducting remote usability testing
• Ensure consistency and quality in UX patterns across all digital touchpoints
• Preparing design for developer hand over
• Supporting developers through implementation

Required Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience working on digital platforms (Mobile apps and Websites)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• A portfolio showcasing:
• Examples of previous work on web and app
• Use of design methods
• Proficiency in:
• Working in Figma
• Simplifying complex logic into intuitive flows.
• Experience in building user journeys across different platforms (Mobile apps and Websites)
• Usability testing to ensure high quality experiences
• Strong UI skills and confidence in building dev-ready design
• Working with component-based design systems across mobile app and websites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within the insurance field
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across timezones
