Job Title: Junior Underwriter (Freshers or Experienced) -- Note On Female's are considered for this role.

Job Summary

A Junior Underwriter supports the underwriting team by evaluating financial information, assessing risk, and assisting in decision-making . This role is ideal for B.Com/M.com (Accounts) graduates with strong analytical and financial skills.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and bank statements

Evaluate risk based on applicant financial data and credit history

Assist in reviewing loan applications

Verify accuracy of submitted documents and data

Prepare underwriting reports and summaries

Support senior underwriters in decision-making

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) /Masters in commerce– Accounts / Finance / Accounting

Basic understanding of:

Financial statements

Accounting principles

Credit analysis

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and financial tools

Good communication skills

Problem-solving mindset

Ability to work under deadlines

Optional / Added Advantages

Internship or training in banking, finance, or insurance

Knowledge of underwriting processes

Work Environment

Typically office-based (banks, insurance companies, NBFCs)

May involve handling confidential financial data
