Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled UX/UI Designer to design intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences for a Salesforce-powered platform leveraging Salesforce Health Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
This role will focus on creating patient, caregiver, and provider-facing portal experiences that streamline access to behavioral health and education services, reduce friction in intake and referral processes, and improve overall engagement.
The UX/UI Designer will play a critical role in translating complex clinical and operational workflows into simple, human-centered digital experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries
- Proven experience designing portal or digital experience platforms
- Strong portfolio demonstrating: o End-to-end UX process o Complex workflow design o Mobile-first and responsive design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with: o Salesforce Experience Cloud o Salesforce Health Cloud
- Familiarity with: o Behavioral health or education services workflows o Patient intake, referrals, and care coordination journeys
- Experience with design tools such as: o Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD

Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
User Experience (UX) Design
- Lead end-to-end UX design across: o Patient intake and onboarding flows o Referral submission and tracking o Appointment scheduling and reminders o Care coordination and communication workflows
- Conduct user research: o Stakeholder interviews (patients, caregivers, clinicians, intake staff) o Journey mapping and persona development
- Identify friction points and design solutions to improve: o Time-to-access care o Form completion rates o User satisfaction
User Interface (UI) Design
- Design high-fidelity UI components aligned with Salesforce Experience Cloud capabilities
- Create: o Wireframes o Mockups o Interactive prototypes
- Develop consistent design systems and component libraries
- Ensure responsive, mobile-first designs across devices
Accessibility & Inclusive Design
- Ensure compliance with: o WCAG 2.1 AA standards o Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Design for diverse populations including: o Behavioral health patients o Caregivers and guardians o Users with cognitive, visual, or language barriers
Salesforce Platform Alignment
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure designs align with: o Experience Cloud templates and constraints o OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards)
- Optimize designs for performance, scalability, and maintainability within Salesforce
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with: o Product Managers o Business Analysts o Salesforce Developers and Architects
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: o Sprint planning o Design reviews o Usability testing sessions
- Provide design assets and guidance to development teams
Usability Testing & Continuous Improvement
- Plan and execute usability testing sessions
- Analyze user feedback and behavioral data
- Iterate designs based on insights and KPIs
- Support A/B testing and optimization efforts
