Who We Are Looking For
Are you excited by challenges Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment Then now is the time to join Quorum Software, a rapidly growing company and industry leader in oil & gas transformation.
Job Purpose
You will join Quorum's UI/UX team as a senior design practitioner, driving the user experience vision across Quorum's NA O&T platform. This role goes beyond execution — you will be a design advocate who deeply understands user problems, simplifies complex enterprise workflows, and helps shape better product solutions in close partnership with product management and engineering. You will own end-to-end UX work including research, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping, while helping to define what great design looks like at Quorum. As we invest in building significant new capabilities across the platform, you will help establish and scale our in-house design practice.
What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end UX process for complex enterprise workflows: discovery, user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and design iteration — with a consistent focus on solving real user problems and simplifying complex workflows, not just delivering design artifacts
- Apply systems thinking to understand the full landscape of user journeys across Quorum's platform, ensuring that new workflows are designed with the broader product ecosystem in mind — promoting consistency and coherence with existing experiences rather than designing in isolation
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, and maintain a scalable design system that ensures visual and interaction consistency across the platform
- Partner with product management to translate business requirements and user needs into clear, well-documented design specifications and interaction patterns
- Conduct and synthesize user research — including interviews, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and analytics review — to inform design decisions with evidence rather than assumptions
- Communicate design decisions clearly and compellingly: articulate the rationale behind design choices, present work to diverse audiences, and build alignment across product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders who may come with different perspectives and priorities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, well-understood, and faithfully implemented, participating in design reviews and providing redlines and asset handoffs
- Leverage AI-assisted design tools and workflows (e.g., AI-powered prototyping, content generation, and layout exploration) to accelerate iteration and expand the range of design options explored
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a design-first culture, including establishing UX review processes, design critiques, and documentation standards
- Actively drive innovation by recommending improvements to design processes, tooling, and practices that raise the quality bar and increase team efficiency
- Collaborate across time zones and geographies with distributed product and engineering teams
- And other duties as assigned
What To Bring
- 6–8 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work on complex, data-rich enterprise or B2B applications
- Expert proficiency in Figma or equivalent modern design and prototyping tools, including component libraries, auto-layout, design tokens, and interactive prototyping
- Deep understanding of UX research methodologies and the ability to plan and execute research that drives meaningful product improvements
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale design systems with documented patterns, guidelines, and reusable components
- Strong information architecture and interaction design skills, particularly for workflow-heavy applications with complex data models
- Excellent visual design sensibility — typography, layout, color, spacing — applied within the constraints of enterprise software
- A systems thinker with the ability to understand end-to-end user journeys and design with the broader product ecosystem in mind, creating workflows that are consistent, connected, and coherent across the platform
- Exceptional communication skills — able to clearly explain and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences, build shared understanding, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to communicate design rationale through presentations, documentation, and storytelling
- Comfort working in agile environments, managing multiple concurrent workstreams, and adapting designs based on engineering feasibility and business priority
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand implementation tradeoffs — implementation skill is a plus but not the focus of this role
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Nice To Have
- Experience with AI-assisted design workflows, including tools that leverage generative AI for layout exploration, content drafting, image generation, or rapid prototyping
- Background in energy, industrial, or other operationally complex B2B domains
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platforms for managing design work alongside engineering workflows
- Knowledge of accessibility auditing tools and processes
- Experience conducting or facilitating design sprints
- Familiarity with data visualization design for dashboards, reporting, or analytics interfaces
