User Experience / User Interface Designer – GCC, India:
- This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Lab team.
- The mission of Digital Lab is to explore potential of new technologies (Cloud, AI, HMI) to produce digital MVPs and deliver new solutions to ADM users (internal and/or external)
- The role of a UX/UI Designer is to create the best user experience for ADM users (internal/external). He/She ensures that the Digital MVPs meet the specific needs of the user in the simplest possible way and in a pleasant environment.
- The successful candidate will know how to analyze user needs to ensure a positive user experience and deliver business value.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead user research to gather insights/user needs:
- Conducting user research, user's interviews, surveys to identify insights and problem statements
- Communicate around the insights/user needs and present it to other departments/teams
Lead and participate to design workshops:
- Liaise with users and stakeholders to conceptualize personas, journeys maps and identifying pain points
- Help the team to ideate and generate solutions on identified pain points
- Produce all required material/documentation to animate and share outputs of the workshop with stakeholders
Integrate findings from user research and design workshops into design decisions during the MVP phase:
- Work closely with Digital Lab Team / GT Teams / Projects Teams and Users following agile principles, participate to agile/scrum ceremonies
- Support the product team and business analysts to turn user needs into user stories in order to deliver product backlog
- Coordinate with the UI developer and product owner to deliver functional and user friendly interfaces/solutions
- Observe usability and identify user needs/issues during tests of the MVP with users
UI Responsibilities:
- Design visually engaging interfaces (buttons, layouts, icons)
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Maintain design systems and style guides
- Ensure consistency across platforms (mobile, web, tablet)
Required Skills:
- Understand and experience in all stages of the user-centric design process
- Conducting customer workshops, user research to identify problem statements
- Ability to articulate design decisions and collect feedback for design iteration
- High communication skills to interact, animate and work with groups and end-users
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
- Wireframing and prototyping
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Knowledge of usability principles and accessibility standards
Desired Skills:
Experience in designing software:
- Mural for design workshops
- to have some knowledge on Adobe XD/Figma to deliver prototypes
- to have some knowledge on Azure DevOps to deliver user stories and acceptance criteria
- to have some knowledge on tests tools like sauce labs to do some tests with users when MVPs will be delivered
- Knowledge of the food industry
- Applied Experience with Agile sprints and Scrum rituals
Education Requirements:
- Recognized qualifications in Scientific, Engineering, Arts, Design, Innovation degree
- OR 5+ years of equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
- Must have 2 years of experience in using user centric approaches
- Experience of working using Agile methodologies.
