Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Junior UI Designer to build intuitive, user-centric applications and data dashboards. The role bridges complex data with functional business tools. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to create high-fidelity Figma mockups, translating intricate requirements into simple, logical interfaces.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with multiple stakeholders to conceptualize, create, and prototype solutions.
Responsibilities
- Application & dashboard design: Create visually engaging web layouts, focusing on hierarchy, data visualization, and user workflows.
- Interactive prototyping: Build high-fidelity Figma prototypes demonstrating complex user flows and interactive dashboard elements.
- Data visualization: Design clean, effective charts prioritizing KPIs and preventing cognitive overload.
- Interaction design: Define responsive and predictable user interactions for components like modals, tables, and nested navigation.
- Design system maintenance: Assist in maintaining component libraries for application and dashboard consistency.
- UX copywriting: Write clear microcopy (tooltips, errors, labels) for complex data navigation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of user interface design experience
- Expertise in Figma, including auto layout, variables, slots, and components and figma make rapid prototyping
- High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of HTML/CSS constraints for development
- Knowledge of standards following web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Google Workspace apps, including Google Slides and Google Docs
