UI Designer Internship

About The Role

This role involves working closely with the Design Team Lead to design and refine the product's interface. You will collaborate with the full-stack developer to translate product requirements into clean, intuitive, and functional user experiences. The work includes creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and interaction flows, as well as improving the interface based on feedback, user behaviour, and ongoing product development.

What You'll Do

Work with the Design Team Lead to build, expand and maintain the product's design system.

Create wireframes, low-fidelity drafts and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

Conduct user flow mapping, information architecture planning and interaction design.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback, internal reviews and product experiments.

Build responsive layouts for various screen sizes and device types.

Contribute to usability improvements, accessibility considerations and interface clarity.

Organise and maintain design files, component libraries and documentation.

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in Figma for prototyping, components and interface design.

Experience with other design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch or similar platforms (optional, but useful).

Understanding of motion and interaction tools such as Protopie, Framer, Principle or similar.

Strong grasp of UI fundamentals: layouts, spacing, typography, colours and visual hierarchy.

Ability to think through interactions, micro-interactions and transition patterns.

Comfort receiving feedback and iterating quickly.

Duration: 3 Months (with the possibility to extend upon mutual confirmation).

Commitment: 15-20 hours/week, flexible scheduling
