Qualification & Experience
- Any degree in English language with typing speed of 35 wpm.
- Good in English grammar and medical terms.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to operate word processing, computer software and hospital software.
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in English grammar, structure and style,
Key Result Areas :
- To type ultrasound, CT and other radiology reports which is dictated by Radiologist with more than 98% accuracy.
- To complete reports within 30 minutes of dictation.
Responsibilities:
- Come to the hospital in a neat and tidy way.
- Obey the hospital rules and regulation ,policies and follow the core values of the institute.
- Co-operate with other staffs in the department and maintain good interpersonal relationship with other department.
- Ensure that billing sheets are updated in the hospital information software in time and avoid errors.
- Maintain the portable ultrasound register.
- Checking the work list of ultrasound.
- Maintaining critical case register.
- Maintain required ultrasound records.
- Give appointments for the patients of USG with proper instructions.
- Collecting bill from the patients and informing Radiologist.
- Spell-check, medical terminology and medical dictionary to be constantly updated in the system.
- Give proper instructions to the patients about prescribed USG Scans.
- PNDT forms has to get filled by the patient who ever is undergoing PNDT scans and they have to be maintained in a folder and send to admin by end of the month.
- Managing children & sensitive patients during procedures. Will supervise:
- Receive doctors prescription from patient for ultrasound, talk to the patient before the procedure ensure it is correct patient.
- Give proper instructions to the patients about prescribed USG Scans.
- Managing children & sensitive patients during procedures.
- Maintain ultrasound turnaround time details in excel sheet. Will participate in:
- To manage vulnerable and sensitive patient.
- To be aware of protocols and policies of the department.
- To coordinate in the educational activities of the department.
- To check oxygen /suction in ultrasound room.
