Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Claims Management: Submitting and tracking insurance claims, managing claim denials, and following up on pending payments.
- Billing Operations: Preparing patient invoices, verifying insurance eligibility, and collecting co-payments/outstanding balances.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining patient records, coding accuracy, and complying with healthcare regulations.
- Coordination: Liaising with insurance TPAs, patients, and hospital clinicians for smooth payment processes.
- Reporting: Preparing daily/monthly reports on billing, collections, and outstanding AR (Accounts Receivable).

Qualifications And Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience in hospital billing or insurance management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS), medical billing software, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of ICD-10/CPT coding, insurance terminology, and regulations.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
