Role Summary
Job Description
The job incumbent supports the product management activities for the business unit
Automotive Aftermarket within the GBTS Product management function and ensures an
effective and efficient delivery of tasks on time
Main Tasks
Support the GBTS product management team (Aftermarket) in all the nominated tasks of
product development and internal product inclusion process
Follow defined processes and manuals and closely implement for awarded tasks
Ensure high level of quality for tasks, thereby enabling to meet the SLA (service level
agreements) + KPIs (key performance indicators) with the customers
Maintain regular communication and keep internal customers updated with project status
and timeline
Highlight to team lead and / or customer in case project targets can not be met as agreed
(with regards to timeline, content, ..)
Support in preparing technical presentations for internal and external use
Support in Database management
Support in 5S and Continuous Improvement activities
Research tasks
Maintain internal + external catalogue systems with creation and maintenance of
application and product related data
Obtaining parts from the market for research, benchmarking and product releases
Provide data reports out of product system (cross-referencing, VIO information, ..)
Portfolio tasks
Gather product + application information in order to facilitate portfolio decisions
Provide technical documentation and information on products for cross-functional team
(marketing, sales, ..)
Create flyers and information leaflets to inform regularly about new filter types and
obsolete filter types and technical changes
Support product manager in portfolio evaluation (market coverage evaluations, gap
analysis, competitor analysis, ..)

Minimum Educational Requirement
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical engineering, mechanics
Experience
Qualification & Experience:
Fresher with an MBA degree in sales and marketing or Mechnical Engineering Graduate
Good interpersonal skills to be part of cross functional teams for projects
Ability to follow processes and to work independently
Solution oriented thinking
Willingness to go to field and outdoor to do the market research
Experience in working with MS-Office-tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with Good communication skills, presentation skill
Flexible, hardworking, highly motivated person with proactive approach to work
Willingness to travel abroad if required
