Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a TIG Welder based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some remote work. The TIG Welder will handle welding operations, inspect and prepare metal surfaces, and ensure precision in fabricating high-quality components. Day-to-day tasks will include interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, maintaining welding equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality in assembling components for maritime and defense systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TIG welding, metal fabrication, and welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with inspection of welds for quality, and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of safety standards, proper use of welding equipment, and material handling practices
- Following safety protocols in a workshop environment and working with precision tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality deliverables
- Experience working in the marine or defense sector is a plus
- Diploma or certification in welding or a related field is preferred
