Job Title: Testing Engineer – NPD (Electrical Equipment)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Testing Engineer to support New Product Development (NPD) testing activities. With multiple projects (8–9) running in parallel, this role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of DVP testing, coordination with labs, and timely reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1–4 years of experience in testing and validation within the electrical equipment/manufacturing domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare DVP (Design Verification Plan) reports in Excel, Word, and PDF formats
- Maintain and update testing data in the EPDM system
- Handle purchase-related entries in the ON PURCHASE system
- Coordinate with external testing laboratories, including quotation collection and follow-ups
- Support invoice verification and clearance processes
- Monitor testing setups and ensure timely material collection from the manufacturing team
- Execute testing activities as per approved DVP plans
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting for ongoing NPD projects
Business Context
With 8–9 NPD projects running simultaneously, the testing workload is significantly increasing. This role will play a key part in ensuring structured testing execution, data management, and coordination across teams.
Education
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
Experience
- 1 to 4 years of experience in testing/validation / NPD support
- Experience in electrical equipment or the manufacturing industry is preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with testing processes and documentation (DVP)
- Exposure to EPDM systems (preferred)
- Understanding of electrical equipment and testing tools
Soft Skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication and stakeholder management
