We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern automation tools and strong programming knowledge, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Perform code reviews of test scripts and ensure adherence to automation best practices.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and assist with root cause analysis.
- Maintain test data and environments required for automated test execution.
- Document test cases, automation coverage, and generate test reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 45 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG
- API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Good understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in version control tools like Git.
- Experience in integrating tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI.
- Ability to debug and resolve issues related to automation execution.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and test orchestration tools.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
