SDET – Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
scalable automated test solutions for API and UI layers, ensuring system reliability, performance, and high‑quality releases. This role requires close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams in an
Agile/Scrum environment.

Your Role
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
- Strong expertise in API and UI automation, with hands‑on experience using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and REST Assured.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks aligned with best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated API tests to validate backend services, data integrity, and system reliability.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Maven and GitHub Actions to enable continuous testing.
- Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum methodology and contribute across the testing lifecycle.
- Apply strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to identify root causes and ensure defect prevention.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide production support on a rotational basis (once or twice a month on weekends).
Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs.
- Perform API testing using REST Assured for RESTful web services.
- Implement UI automation for web applications using Selenium and Playwright.
- Validate system behavior using complex SQL queries.
- Ensure continuous quality through automated testing pipelines and CI/CD integration.
- Provide timely test execution, reporting, and quality sign‑off.
Requirements
Job Description - Grade Specific
- Experience: 6–12 Years as a QA Engineer / SDET.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience in:
- Java‑based automation testing
- Selenium and Playwright
- REST Assured for API automation
- Proficiency in SQL scripting and database validation.
- Solid knowledge of automation frameworks and test design patterns.
- Experience with Maven and GitHub Actions for automated testing pipelines.
- Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility in work timings, including periodic weekend production support.
- Good to Have: Domain knowledge in Capital Markets & Wealth Management.
