Application Developer-Cloud FullStack

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will design and implement solutions using multiple technologies to meet functional requirements. You will convert high-level designs into functional and technical specifications, support business applications to meet performance and availability goals, and ensure adherence to development, testing, service management, and change management processes. You will also plan and manage medium to large integrated application projects, define coding best practices, and conduct design reviews to ensure quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Specification: Translate functional needs into technical designs and create corresponding functional and technical specifications.
• Application Support: Provide or oversee functional support for business applications to meet performance, availability, and SLA requirements.
• Process & Governance Compliance: Ensure adherence to project management, development, testing, service management, change management, and RCA standards.
• Project Planning & Execution: Plan and manage medium to large, complex, integrated application or platform projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality.
• Coding Best Practices: Support the establishment of coding standards and best practices within the team to improve quality and maintainability.
• Design Review: Perform design reviews to ensure architectural and technical alignment with business and system requirements.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 36 years of experience implementing software applications as a Java full stack developer with Angular as the UI
• 5+ years of proficiency in Java, Microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks with Angular UI
• Strong understanding of databases, design principles, and RDBMS concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized solutions such as PCF and Docker
• Appreciation for non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, user experience, security, and maintainability
• Proficiency with Agile practices and tools such as Tivoli Workload Scheduler, JIRA, Confluence, SVN, and Git
• Ability to multitask across product lines and projects and delegate effectively
• Prior experience delivering software products or enterprise solutions (Angular UI is mandatory)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Experience in banking domain (good to have)
