As a Test Architect in our Product Engineering - SSP team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture for Nokia's cutting-edge signaling products, including Cloud Signaling Director (CSD) and Policy Control (PCRF) elements. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
You will drive the test strategy and enhance both functional and non-functional testing to ensure the highest software quality. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Design and implement the architecture for Nokia's signaling products within the Product Engineering - SSP team.
- Drive the test strategy and effectiveness for functional and non-functional areas, ensuring high software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies, leading corrective action efforts.
- Utilize cloud technologies and scripting skills to enhance and streamline testing processes.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software-related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant Software Test experience in telco grade products
- 7+ years of Test experience in functional, non-functional, and serviceability areas with large-scale distributed systems
- Good working knowledge in Cloud, K8s, and Python scripting
It would be nice if you also had:
- Good working knowledge in CSD, PCRF, VOLTE, SDL, OneNDS, DRA, SCP, BSF, SEPP in 4G/5G core technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with scripting and tracing tools (e.g., Wireshark, tShark).
- Able to implement innovative practices for chaotic programmable performance tests (e.g., Chaos Monkey).
