Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Telecaller role based in Kolkata. The Telecaller will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential or existing customers to promote life insurance products and services. Key tasks include explaining product features and benefits, addressing customer queries, maintaining a database of customer information, and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targets. The role emphasizes customer engagement and upselling opportunities while adhering to company guidelines and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer engagement, relationship management, and query resolution abilities
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including CRM and database management
- Ability to handle customer objections confidently and professionally
- Previous experience in telecalling, sales, or a customer support role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in any field preferred
- Fluency in English and local languages is highly desirable
