Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Cardiology Testing: Conduct electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment
  • Patient Care: Ensure cardiology patients are comfortable and address any questions regarding tests
  • Result Recording: Record test results and consult with physicians to schedule follow-up tests
  • Assistance in Procedures: Monitor patients heart rates during non-invasive procedures and alert physicians of abnormal readings
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cardiological equipment and supplies through daily cleaning and adjustments
  • Inventory Management: Record supply inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and report malfunctions in cardiological equipment
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on cardiology developments through conferences and research participation
