Job Description

Responsibilities:

Cardiology Testing: Conduct electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment
Patient Care: Ensure cardiology patients are comfortable and address any questions regarding tests
Result Recording: Record test results and consult with physicians to schedule follow-up tests
Assistance in Procedures: Monitor patients heart rates during non-invasive procedures and alert physicians of abnormal readings
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cardiological equipment and supplies through daily cleaning and adjustments
Inventory Management: Record supply inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Troubleshooting: Identify and report malfunctions in cardiological equipment
Professional Development: Stay updated on cardiology developments through conferences and research participation
