Key Responsibilities
Event Support
- Deliver hands-on AV support for events via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other platforms
- Operate event production equipment including audio desks, lighting desks, vision mixers, and PTZ cameras
- Coordinate events using ticketing or booking systems
- Support small events independently and larger events as part of a team
- Advise clients and stakeholders on best practices for event success
- Escalate operational issues and suggest improvements
- Produce event-related reports as requested
Video / Audio Conferencing
- Setup and support video/audio conferences
- Ensure equipment readiness and handover to meeting hosts
- Commission and test new or relocated video conference systems
- Troubleshoot conferencing faults and collaborate with external vendors for resolution
Project-Based Work
- Provide AV support for client projects at multiple sites
- Offer expert advice and implement best practices
- Assist in integrating media and web content into presentations
AV Meeting Room Support
- Maintain multimedia/presentation rooms in optimal condition
- Support AV equipment setup and operation
- Respond to emergency or ad-hoc AV requests promptly
- Assist with multimedia broadcasting and long-duration meetings
Faults & Room Checks
- Conduct regular preventative room checks
- Diagnose and resolve AV equipment faults onsite or escalate as necessary
- Perform power up/down procedures, often outside normal hours
- Report issues proactively and suggest service improvements
General Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of AV rooms, stores, and equipment
- Train technical team members and provide guidance
- Liaise with clients and event planners with a high level of customer service
- Document events, AV issues, and service improvements
