JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in technical writing, particularly in the medical technology, biotech, or healthcare industries.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Proven experience writing clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, online help systems, and regulatory documents.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency with technical writing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of medical technology and engineering principles to work closely with product and engineering teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple documentation projects.
Certifications (Optional but Preferred):
- Certified Technical Writer (CTW) or similar professional certifications.
- Experience with medical device standards (e.g., ISO 13485) or FDA guidelines is a plus.
