We are seeking a skilled Flexera Support Engineer to manage, support, and optimize the organization's Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) environment using Flexera solutions. The role involves system administration, troubleshooting, integration, reporting, and ensuring license compliance across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and administration of Flexera tools (e.g., FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, FNMS, App Portal, Snow Platforms).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform regular data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation of inventory and license data.
- Configure and maintain business adapters, inventory agents, and integrations with systems such as SCCM, Intune, ServiceNow, and Active Directory.
- Maintain system documentation, processes, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation of new Flexera/Snow features.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 35+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
- Hands-on experience with Flexera/Snow tools (FlexNet Manager, Flexera One, Snow SLM, SI etc.).
- Basic understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, SAP, etc.).
- Experience with inventory tools such as SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Certifications:
- Flexera/Snow certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Knowledge of automation or scripting (SQL, PowerShell, Python)
