Job Description

Job Title: Senior Projects Manager Technical Sales Industrial Lubricants

Position Overview:

We are seeking an elite Senior Projects Manager Technical Sales to lead the strategic growth of Industrial Lubricants portfolio, including Metalworking Fluids (MWF), Rust Preventatives (RP), General Industrial Lubricants (GIL) and Industrial Gear Oils (IGO) portfolio of an esteemed, prestigious client of ours. This role requires a highly technical background combined with superior stakeholder management skills to influence C-Suite executives, end to end project management skills, Team Management and Leadership, high interpersonal skills to liaise with functional stakeholders and manage complex, high-value manufacturing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts, managing large, multi-layered teams to drive sales strategy execution on the ground. Uphold Safety of the Team and Compliance ahead of all priorities including business.

* Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence CXO level stakeholders (CEO, COO, Plant Heads) to demonstrate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements and align our products with their corporate operational goals. Coordinate with the Senior Leadership of the client both at HO & Regions.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly and assertively with the cross function team to make sure of 100% seat fill, highly skilled and well trained team on the ground through continuous learning, Tech led visibility to the execution through automated reports and dashboards.

* Project Management: Lead complex technical trials, Prospect Pipeline Management, Retain and drive share of wallet growth from existing accounts, Prospect Pipeline Management to drive New Customer Additions, conduct periodic reviews with the Team, align with the client's business priorities and seamlessly operate in the distributor environment and meet the expectations. Drive value selling by demonstrating significant value delta and ensure Best in Class Team on the ground representing the Clients portfolio.

* Market Analysis: Utilize critical and logical thinking to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to identify new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Profile:

* Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science/Metallurgy, or Instrumentation & Control Technology from a Tier 1 Engineering Institute.
* Post Graduate Degree in General Management (MBA) from a Tier 1 Business School.

* Experience:
* 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in technical sales within the industrial sector (e.g., Lubricants, cutting tools, grinding wheels, abrasives, process (speciality) chemicals, industrial gases).
* Certifications: STLE Certification (CLS or OMA) is strongly preferred.

* Age: Below 40 years.
* Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to manage complex internal and external stakeholders.
* Mobility: Must be open to extensive traveling at short notice to visit client & customer sites.
